Friday Night Dinner: Takana Fried Rice & Spicy Tofu
Friday nights are special; my wife often cooks special dishes to conclude the end of the working week. This time, she made "Takana Fried Rice", "Mapodofu (spicy tofu)", red and orange pepper mixed with pork and mixed salad. A total of 4 dishes. Takana 高菜 is famous from Kyushu (southern Japan). It is a kind of pickled vegetable. Asians love it. However, she made it with a twist again like she always does. She made a fried rice dished mixed in with Takana. It is delicious with a different taste, if you love this kind of asian pickled vegetable. It is worth a try!!
