Today, we went to Burnaby Lake on a cold cloudy day near 0 degrees. However, we saw so many kinds of birds near the lake.
We saw these majestic Double-crested Cormorant in the lake resting and stretching:
They have blue eyes, partly orange beak and large wings.
I am not sure there are a lot of these birds in BC.I found a link for these birds, documenting their habitats and numbers:
